Description of Éol'Air Montgolfières

The ground crew and the passengers meet at the time and place that was determined by the pilot the day before the flight. In the summer, flights take place during the 3-hour period following sunrise (between 4:30 and 7:30) or during the 3-hour period before sunset (between 4:00 and 7:00). The take-off site is chosen according to the speed and direction of the wind.

On the take-off site, the ground crew readies the balloon to be inflated with cold air while you watch. You might enjoy giving us a helping hand during ground preparations; you’ll get even more out of your experience. When everything is ready, the pilot will explain the safety rules to observe during the flight. As soon as the balloon is inflated with hot air, the pilot will ask you to board the gondola for take off.

Passengers are often anxious about landing... When it’s time to land, the pilot will remind you of the safety rules. You will touch down lightly in an unfamiliar spot, taking with you wonderful memories of a truly unforgettable experience.

Once the ground crew arrives at the landing site, they will pack up the balloon and again, you’re welcome to help if you wish. A glass of champagne or a mimosa will be served to our new adepts, as well as to the owner of the land in appreciation for the use of his property. We will then take you back to the departure point.

Allow yourself a maximum of 4 hours to fully experience this marvelous adventure.
